Our approach to sustainability and the environment provides us with an important lens through which we guide our choices when designing and creating solutions for our clients.
We work hard to design our collections to use materials and processes that heavily reduce or eliminate the impact of our work on the planet. Our ambition is to leave the world better than we came to it and become a net positive contributor to the environment through our actions. Below are our current initiatives and actions that we are taking to reduce the impact of our business on the environment.
One Product, One Tree
At our core, we are committed to bringing beautiful stationery and paper goods to life for our customers. To show our commitment to our shared environment, as well as to offset the paper used and carbon emitted in creating our work, we have partnered with a leading organisation to plant a tree for each and every product sold on our website.
According to common estimates, an average tree will produce around 10,000 sheets of paper, and will absorb around 900 kilograms of carbon dioxide over 40 years. This makes the investment of one tree per product a significant contribution to the environment compared to the amount of card stock used in your stationery suite.
Each tree has been chosen to be planted in Australia, with a current focus on reforestation and sustainable forestry in Western Australia and New South Wales.
As a primarily paper goods business, we love finding new card stocks and papers to work with from our suppliers around the world. In doing so, we have worked to ensure that all card stocks we work with are as environmentally friendly as possible and sourced from sustainably managed forestries or sources.
We will always source paper from FSC sources, and are always striving to integrate recycled sources into our work wherever possible.
Our ambition is to leave the world better than we came to it and become a net positive contributor to the environment through our actions.
We ship only with carbon-neutral options, via Sendle or Australia Post domestically depending on the fastest method for your parcel to reach its destination.
We are always seeking to improve our offering and integrate more sustainable practices into our work. If you have any questions about our practices or have any feedback on how we can do better, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When choosing our packaging, we need to know that our orders are going to arrive at their destination safe and sound, as well as provide a gorgeous unboxing experience for our clients when their printed goods arrive. To meet these two objectives, we have implemented boxes that are made of 100% recycled cardboard, and we wrap our client’s goods in paper hexwrap (SFI certified) to protect them during transit.
All of our packaging collateral, tissue paper and stickers are all printed on recycled or FSC certified stocks, and only kraft paper packing tape is used for your package, using ph neutral adhesive.
