What you’ll need to know about place cards:

Are wedding place cards necessary at my reception?

Wedding place cards are certainly not obligatory. However, they do offer practicality and thoughtfulness at your wedding reception.

First and foremost, wedding place cards help you to organise seating arrangements, ensuring guests find their assigned seats without confusion. Moreover, they also provide an opportunity for personalisation, helping you to achieve a cohesive wedding look through decorative charm.

While place cards may be more suitable for formal or larger weddings, the decision ultimately depends on your preferences and the desired level of personal touch.

What size are wedding place cards?

Peppermint Press Wedding place cards are 90x30mm and are printed in premium 300 - 350GSM card stock. Accordingly, they are the perfect size to sit neatly either with your menu package, or alone on napkins or plates - as you have arranged.

You can also choose to have your place cards die cut into another shape or style which will change the dimensions.

Does Peppermint Press make custom wedding place cards?

Designed in line with our well established design collections, our place cards come in a variety of styles. However, at Peppermint Press we offer a certain amount of freedom for personalisation of our wedding place cards.

Both the wording and the colour of our place card designs are able to be changed. During the design process, your designer will provide an opportunity for this customisation.

Please note that whilst we are determined to create a truly bespoke experience that reflects your unique vision, we will also provide advice and guidelines which will help you to improve the quality and appearance of your place setting cards.
