Can I order custom engagement invitations?

When you choose engagement invitations with Peppermint Press, you are provided with flexibility to create designs that reflect your personality and style as a couple. Your engagement invitations are crafted by one designer throughout your whole journey. 

During the design process, you will be able to customise the colour, shape and wording of your engagement invitations. Although a white envelope will be included, you are also free to select a coloured envelope and opt for printed envelopes at an additional cost. 

Please note that whilst we are determined to create a truly bespoke experience that reflects your unique vision, we will also provide advice and guidelines which will help to improve the quality of your invitations.

What information should I include on my engagement invitations?

Unlike wedding invitations, engagement invitations tend to be a little more casual and present guests with less information. Typically, the following information will be presented: 

  • Host names: Usually the couple themselves.
  • Request line: Such as "Join us in celebrating our engagement".
  • Couple's names: Include the full names of the engaged couple.
  • Date and time: Including the day of the week and the start time of the party.
  • Venue name and address: To help guests find their way.
  • RSVP information: Request guests to RSVP by a specific date and provide contact information.
  • Theme or dress code: Any specific theme or dress code for the engagement party.
When should I send out engagement invitations?

Engagement invitations are typically sent out around 4-6 weeks before your event. This allows your guests enough time to mark a date in their calendars and make any necessary arrangements to attend. However, you should also take into consideration factors such as whether some guests live far away and will need to make plans.

How long will my order take?

Our order process takes around 3 weeks for save the date cards, plus shipping. As there are less details on the save the date compared to a wedding invitation the consultation process is typically faster, and as our save the dates are digitally printed, production takes up to two weeks.
